Hannah Dawe

"You must have a room, or a certain hour or so a day, where you don’t know what was in the newspapers that morning, you don’t know who your friends are, you don’t know what you owe anybody, you don’t know what anybody owes to you. This is a place where you can simply experience and bring forth what you are and what you might be. This is the place of creative incubation. At first you may find that nothing happens there. But if you have a sacred place and use it, something eventually will happen.
Joseph Campbell"

Hannah Dawe began practicing yoga in 2008 at Yogaworks. What served as a weekend pastime soon became an enduring daily companion. Her curiosity of movement as a means of self discovery, expression and empowerment led her to pursue a BA in dance, a MA in Yoga Studies from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and over 500hrs of training from Yoga Medicine.

In the last 15 years of teaching classes, private clients, teacher trainings and retreats, Hannah has developed a refined eye for observing patterns and a skill for developing practices to help students feel strong, spacious and supported. Her classes are woven with intelligent alignment cues and mindfulness techniques to help you navigate life with a little more balance and ease.
